There are actually cubes that you can put into your pond that kills the mosquitoes, but not the fish or plants. You should find them at any nursery where they sell pond stuff or bigbox home/hardware store. Not that an airator or pump does not help;however,t this is just another possibility--no mosquitoes; now That is a good thing.

Definitely, mosquitoes do not breed in moving water.
I also think that having fish in the pond cuts down the population of mozzies too.

Yes. Mosquitoes can only emerge as adults from the water when it is still. If it is rippling just a little bit, they won't be able to dry out & use their wings and will most likely drown.

yes i do because mosquitoes need stagnet water to breed so i say yes .
