i am 20 yrs old and in college my ex. bf 21 he is engaged now and i just found out i am 3 months pregnant. he left me for another girl because she was pregnant a month along it happened while we were on a break !!!!I am studying to be a lawyer. how much to expect in child support his other child will be born a month earlier than mine. He is also in law school and has no job .

u cannot force him to get a job, but go to the attorney general's office and apply for child support. they will force him to give about 20% of his income

So, you are intelligent enough to be in college; not law school yet, but hopes to be there, and you are not smart enough to protect yourself?? Child support is the obligation of BOTH parents. The one who makes more will pay the other, minus the obligation of the other. You can't make him work, he can't make you work. Good Luck!

Let him finish school, let him practice. You bought yourself one hell of an insurance policy, your child will be set. Do this a couple of more times and you can get your school loans paid off and have some good support while you're beginning your own practice. Good going.

you cant force someone to work.. slavery was abolished in the 1800's
