Ooohh what a sneaky cow. Obviously she is jealous of you, you might have something she wants, you are probably better at her job than she is.
If you know what kind of things she is doing/saying, try to stay one step ahead and predict her next move. Or get in there first and set her up!!!

Is the job one you want to keep? Is it worth fighting for?

Never allow anyone to manipulate you into losing your job.

Someone suggested that you confront the problem; have a meeting and air the issue, perhaps with other staff members, a senior officer at the company. This is to ensure that the person's ill will is exposed and you are not blamed later on.

It matters not who the individual might be. If, on the other hand, it is the business owner, then you might need to seek alternative employment. If it does come down to that, have faith, be strong and do what you must. Do not let it dampen your spirits any further.

I learned a long time ago, that the truth always reveals itself. If this person is being unjust to you (I've been there) pretty soon they will be on their way out.

Don't sit down on it! Take action! You're worth it! Remind yourself of this all of the time.

Try to rise above it and not over-react - perhaps you are imagining things, in which case it's better not to go accusing people falsely. If you are right and if you are sacked through someone's bad behaviour like this, the boss is a fool and deserves to lose a good worker. Above all, keep your dignity. I believe that "least said, soonest mended" is a very good motto to live by.

Try to stay away from her and if you have to be within reach of her be careful, do you have a mobile phone with a recorder on so you can actually get her saying some of the things she does on tape, maybe that might be an idea, just do it discreetly so she doesn't realise what your doing.

If someone is trying to manipulate me, I would try to keep out of their reach, and if the person still trying and trying very hard I would confront them on the matter.

Ignore all comments, questions or statements not related to work. Smile politely and give professional and courteous responses. As soon as they see they cannot get a rise out of you they get bored and move on.

Don't play the game - totally blank her from your thoughts and concentrate only on doing your work.

Confront them if the situation is not dangerous or threatening. If a woman is coming on to you and you don't want her to, then tell her so. If she doesn't stop it is sexual harassment!
