Honestly I think there are more Americans that would be nervous around you than you would have to feel around them. I'm sure you get a lot of looks and probably always will but for the most part I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Well I can see why you would feel insecure. Reading all the answers and questions here on Yahoo I feel worried too. I think it's kind of threatening and I'm not even a Muslim. I'm not even from America! Nevertheless I think you should just go on being who you are. There will always be people who are looking for an 'enemy'. And now the enemy seems to be each and every Muslim in this world. I have two Muslim girlfriends and they also feel the pressure of being a Muslim in today's world. I think that's very sad. They're both lovely women and I don't like seeing my friends feeling pressured. Good luck.

I don't think you have anything to fear. Millions of Muslims live peacefully with millions of Jews and Christians in America. What is happening now is not the religious crusade some would make it out to be. Americans realize that.

What concerns us however is the lack of outrage expressed by our Muslim population at the abuse which Jihadists have subjected not only their fellow Muslims, but humanity in general to. When the Iraqis risked life and limb to vote for another way of life, they danced in the streets.

Did you?

When Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran are finally liberated and modernized will you join in the celebration?

When you start feeling persecuted, remind yourself that after the attack on Pearl Harbor, millions of Japanese Americans were immediately rounded up into detention camps. Despite what is said about America, we do learn from history and managed to avoid making that mistake again.

Well, I must say, with all the bad press people of your faith have been generating, & the fact that the cowards who killed so many people 5 years ago were living among us, & taking advantage of what the US is all about, I would imagine you would feel fearful. It would be very hard for you to prove you wouldn't go out with bombs strapped to you, but somehow, you probably have to do that to be accepted. But look at it from our prospective. What I mentioned above is why I may not want to be your best friend immediately. If you are a good person, let people know that. Be the opposite of what we hear now.

I suppose so, but I don't feel hate towards all muslims, just the radical ones, like Al-Quida and Hezbollah. They really shouldn't make women wear all that clothes though. It looks uncomfortable, especially in the summer

Your fear is justified. Most people would just as soon kill you if they thought they could get away with it. America is a Christian country, and we don't want any non-Christian here.
