Do they get barred? That is just wrong. I think that gays should be more active in religion. I want you to spread the truth to the fanatics.

Actually, I think the extreme Christians in the gay section are the most fun...they ask for it, I am happy to oblige..after all, I am a very polite guy. A very polite guy who gets reported routinely, but a polite guy. so be it, alas, and amen.

Yahoo is based in Northern California is it not? It is probably staffed by lots of gays and lesbians who live in San Francisco. I bet it has an employment policy banning discrimination in the workplace and probably allows partner benefits, so why does it bow so readily to the christian right wing whenever it moans about something?

Honey...There are 10 times more atheist than Christians in the religion section. A large majority of Atheist are homosexuals. (and liberals...but I won't go there LOL). The Christians are working on a new section, that you can only have a pass word to get into. I can't wait. Yahoo said it might be a week longer.

They don't. I go there quite often.
If Yahoo is indeed putting up a "Christians only" section they had darn well better be ready to pull their anti-gay crap off this section as quickly as possible if they want to avoid lawsuits and boycotts.

I go into the religion section. ( I am an atheist, and since there is still no section for atheists, than I will go there) I have only had one answer removed. It wasnt even remotely offensive.

Lisa, Lisa! The reason you get barred is because sometimes life isn't fair. Sometimes people make decisions, voice opinions we don't agree with, but hey we get up dust ourselves off and live to fight another day. I am a gay man with an passing interest in religious bigots and, as of yet, have never been barred. The reason being that in answering their questions or statements I never flout community rules, therefore leaving them with the simple statement - they can disagree with me, but can not bar me without making an *** of themselves, which they are quite welcome to do.

You just have to choose your words carefully. It's easy to be a real thorn in their sides without getting your questions erased. Give it a try, Young Grasshopper...
Ask Everybody Loves Chris, he can tell you how it's done!

Because Yahoo is controlled by the a U.S. corporation which by definition makes it a Christians only club. Not much you can do really, just is what it is.

The sad truth of the matter is because we live in a Christian world. Yeah, I gag saying that simply because I do not like the way a lot of Christians conduct themselves. Hang in their though. Fight for your right! They are free to speak their minds and gays should be too!
