It is what ever you want it to be. If it is wrong for you then you should not celebrate it. As for me, I don't like what it has become but I will not deny my children the fun of dress up and trick or treating. I believe it is like anything else with God. If in doubt, it is a sin.

Yes christians should celebrate Halloween. It's not like christians go sacrifice a goat in the house of the dark lord on Halloween. Anymore, Halloween is just a holiday to dress up and have fun. Most people probably don't even make the connection that halloween is a satanic holiday.

Christianity has some of the biggest contradicting people I have ever seen. Did you know the Christian Women suppose to cover up, like Muslim women. But it seems that they do what ever they want to do and lash out on the "others!" By the Way: not all christians, just the ones I am talking about!! You know who you are!!!
I think the whole point is that people just got to understand that this is a free world and the only rule is that you don't IMPOSE your thoughts on the next man.
If everyone sould lived like that, this world would be free of wars dumb rules, crime, ETC!!!

I am a christian and i celebrate halloween, well not really anymore but i was raised celebrating halloween. I think halloween is just a bunch of kids begging and then stuffing their faces with candy! And Americans wonder why their children are obese. wow

No. It represents evil, bad spirits, etc. It is a time when people do a lot of evil things because they figure they can hide behind the costumes. Christianity is not about such, but about good spirits. I do not celebrate Halloween. I don't hate people who choose to celebrate it because that is their choice and God gives us a chance to make choices in hoping we will make the right ones. If they choose to make wrong decisions, then that is on them. I am not perfect, but I try to make the right ones.

I am Christian, and would say I observe Halloween, but not really "celebrate" it. To me, it's more of a secular observance.

Halloween was started by christians. Halloween is actually a holiday celebrating holy peole in the christian religion. It was put on october 31st to cover up a pagan holyday, becaue paganism was gaining popularity. same with christmas. halloween is not about devil worship, its about saints and candy. grow up

Celebrate if you want. I see it as a cultural festivity, not so much a religious statement for or against Christianity.
