Sorry for being so vauge before, but i want to make the presentation run from an exe (i no how to do this using ms powerpoint feature "export to cd" and microsoft's own hidden software "iexpress", except its not as neat as i wanted it as when you first open it it runs Powerpoint Viewer and at the end the presentation shows the normal black screen "end of presentation". Wha i waned to do is have an exe so when you open it the presentation opens only the presentation, not powerpoint viewer or if it does open, for the banner at the beggining not to show, and at the end for the "end of presentation" page to go. One last thing, when the presentations slides are saller than the screen size, the background its black and I was wondering if I could change this to make it transparent? Thanks

Good day,

Thank you for your question.

Reading your question I understood that you would like to create a presentation of your coursework. The best tool for that would be either the commercial Microsoft PowerPoint or the cost-free open-source equivalent Open Office Impress.

They are both very easy to use, specially if you are good with computers and it will not fail to impress.

If it is something else you had in mind: For example a program that demonstrates physics principles by doing some calculations and/or a basic simulation then you need to look into a programming language.

The following link is useful for downloading Open Office:

Regards,

PS. If you add more details to your question, I might be able to be more helpful. I am a computer scientist by profession

Not really but for presenting your coursework why do you need to create your own program. Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, and many many more packages out there that will allow to create stunning coursework.

Tell us what you are trying to achieve and we might be able to suggest the most appropriate piece or peices of software for you get the desired result.

I use Visual Basic to create applications. I think that is what you are asking. If you want to make a presentation, try PowerPoint or OpenOffice Impress.

if it's web-based, go with PHP. Teach yourself the language (many free tutorials availble online). Learn it well, and you might even develop some really cool stuff that you might be able to make a living from in the future. You will be grateful
