THE TAPE IS BEING DESTROYED
Yes, Steve Irwin did imply he would want the cameras to keep rolling in the event of an attack, at the time he probally didn't think he was going to be killed.
The tape is not going to be shown to anyone who was not directly involved with his autopsy or who is not his family.

Friend & Manager says tape is being destroyed.

Absolutely wrong. I can't believe so many people are anixous to watch someone die on the tape. He was a great guy, great adventurer, but watching him when he is taking his last breath is just wrong. I think the family should destory the tape. I sure would not want to see my family member die and see the horror on his face when he is about to depart this world. If I ever end up seeing it that memory will end up haunting me for the rest of my life.

I, for one, don't care to see something that tragic. Steve Irwin was a great guy and we've lost him. But, I have to say, exactly who appointed YOU the Videotape police?

From time to time, people who post here type out entire portions of their post with the caps lock on, which I find really annoying. Just as we have all learned about Steve Irwin's tragic death, we have all learned that the tape of his last moments will not be shown to the general public. As such, no one here really needs you to supply us with that information.

I believe very few people, on this site or otherwise, would have wanted to view that tape, even if it had been made available.

a woman with any kind of love and respect for her children or her husband, as Terri appears to have, would never release such a horrifying thing to the public. It would be playing everywhere. Steve may have made those comments about wanting his death filmed, but I don't believe in this situation he would have held true to that when he thought about his children. People should just let it go and respect him as a great man without worrying about the tape. It's footage of a man dying. It's not blockbuster entertainment. It's a tragedy. It should be treated as such.

I believe Stafflers, if there became right into a tape of your untimely dying, might you have chose the worldwide to be seeing it? might your loved ones elect all human beings to make certain it? The stingray would have attacked because of the fact it theory Steve became into so enormous, or humorous finding, or felt in risk. you do no longer would desire to snatch a wild animal for it to attack. There are people who get attacked by bears and God is familiar with the clever ones DIDNT grab the undergo! you will desire to think of approximately it extra earlier you're making unfair accusations

I am curious, but then I start thinking "You know... I just died a very horrible and painful death, my fans and my family miss me very much." Would I want to show it... hell no. It would be circulating around the media and what some of who have failed to mention is that Steve Irwin has children, tiny children. That can be circulation around the media for months and then it will ALWAYS be able to be found on the internet. What if one of his children see his father die?

I believe he would want this- not only being that he had a passion and love for animals. But to show that one needs to be safe around animals. (however with that said) I'm sure they wouldn't show him being killed. To say 'others' are nuts if they want to see this somewhat judgmental on your end.

This is the same kind of thing/movie with the man that lived with the bears.............. and they made a movie about him. And he had video running 24/7.

Just my two cents

i think it would be EXTREMELY inappropriate to show something like that. The guy has two kids that might come across that in the future... who really wants to see there father die?

Who ever wants to see that video is a REALLY morbid individual

R.I.P Steve,
I've watch you on T.V since i was about ten years old :)

If his wife has anything to say about it it won't,the kids must come first. His death was not a violent one but swift and for that I am grateful. I really liked the man what a Dad he was , that was really special and only made him more endearing to his fans. I still find it hard to believe it has happened.

I believe the tape should be destroyed. It is a horrible death and I don't think Steve would have wanted anyone to watch him die.

I'm curious but then again, I don't want to see it. Watching someone die in reality (as opposed to watching someone "die" in a motion picture) would give me nightmares for years to come.

They need to replicate it for evidence and destroy the original and protect the replicates.
