Same thing happened to me, I had 100% feedback. A guy bought something but would not respond to the emails to pay and never paid so after 3 weeks and 6 emails I left negative feedback as a non paying bidder. To retaliate he said I was man and rude and a lot of other stuff. I was hurt he tried to ruin my reputation but in the end it all worked out because i had a lot more positive feedback. I was upset with him for being so nasty and ruining my feedback when I didn't do anything wrong . In this world some people are just mean and nasty and don't give a darn.

Ah, don't stress too much. It's only one negative remark against all the other possitive ones. From here on out if you have something bad to say try to wait until they have posted a good feedback on your and then post what you have to say. I was recently conned into buying a "list" and not actually the item pictured and am still very patiently waiting for them to give me a good feedback before I post what I want to post on theirs. I know it sucks now, but in a few days it will be no big deal. Also remember that the feedback from a seller won't affect buyers opinions of you, if it had been from a buyer then I would worry more. Best wishes

count to ten and breathe breathe......
The first neg always hurts and without a very lot of hassle its virtually impossible to get the feedback retracted/removed.
Cut her rags up and use it to mop the outside lav - save your blood pressure and wasted energy.
Believe in yourself and the way you do ebay, and continue to give the great service you pride yourself in. There are always a few rotten apples in the barrel, if it should occur again either with a bidder or a seller, hold of leaving your neg feedback until the last moment, the time limit I believe was 90 days...chances are they would have forgotten, and won't have a chance to retailiate with a neg back.
We all have our crosses to bear...stick to your principles and remember buyer beware.
You could by way of revenge list the seller on http://www.ebayersthatsuck.com/main/
when you read some of the horror storys you will see that its quite the norm to have a few bad feedbacks.
I had my revenge on a very big power seller whom I'd purchased a digi camera from...by giving feedback on the 90th day I'd already got a full paypal refund of £86 as I very soon realised it was a scam.... but needed to warn other buyers that they were scammers (dispite reporting them numerous time to ebay - nothing was done)
So I left my feedback on the 90th day...and hey presto I got a phone call from USA...by this time I had a dossier of info and had tracked their neg feedback....they made me a offer of £10 asking me to retract my feedback, as power sellers they need to keep their percentages up..to cut a long story short the final offer was the original purchase price again! £86....and they were paying for the call from USA!

I know that ebay has some kind of due process for crap like this. Consult ebay about getting the bad feedback erased.
If not, don't sweat it....I have purchased about 5 items from ebay over the last few years and not one of them had 100%. They all had 90 to 99%, which is good enough, right? Actually, I usually read the bad feedback they got, then see their feedback to the feedback and it always makes me feel better about purchasing form them.

Your not the first to leave negative feedback and receive negative comments in return, most eBayers are great, it's the small minority out to make a quick buck that you've gotta watch out for. In my experience, it is a far bigger risk to sell things on eBay than it is to buy.
Tips for the future: avoid buying or selling goods to anyone with a feedback score lower than 92% and/or read their negative feedback scores to find out what others said about them first.

1.Go for a refund due to "item not as described" .. through Paypal & ring paypal in the UK about it DO NOT wait the 10 days escalate it immediately.
2.Don't worry about the negative..as someone said before buyers are not daft we DO read the negatives & read between the lines as to who is the honest one. I dont mind seeing a buyer having a red neg because they have complained because when I buy off them when they are selling I think if they expect high standards when buying so hopefully they will apply those same principles when they are selling. NB...We all know that as a matter of course that if a buyer complains about a purchase he/she will automatically receive a red neg...like I said we are not daft & we know that the neg will be given because you complained not because the seller was in the right.
Apart from red negs given to buyers for non or late payment I always disregard reds given to buyers because I know myself how many rogue sellers there are on eBay..I am more interested in red negs given to an eBayer who has sold something
Removal of the negative feedback except in very rare circumstances has to be by mutual agreement...so don't depend on that!....don't worry about it...I had the same thing...never affected my sales.
Make sure you take your time to give a good response in feedback...dont use the usual "beware" or "avoid"..be factual....people will see who is the honest one.

If it's the only feedback you've received then you still have a good standing..
You can write a follow up on the - feedback, give a convincing reason that will make ebayers disregard him

Dont worry about it too much.
Leave a cool calm reply to her feedback stating the facts. Buyers arent stupid, they can tell whats gone on by reading feedback.
You could also ask ebay to remove her feedback left but they dont do this very often.

thats the problem with dealing on ebay,i have bought a lot and sold a lot, thankfully ive still got my 100%,you can possibly file a dispute,i wouldnt worry to much about 1 neg, people will look at it and probably decide that you were right anyway, buy it is annoying to lose your 100% to a liar, she will probably end up wuth more negs if she carries on like that, then she will get kicked.
