I want to know if you can move out before the age of 18 if your close to the age can you just pack up and leave?

X YOU can as long as you've graduated from high school. Other wise you are your parents responsibility until then. Good luck hun

Yes. You can legally become an imancipated person at age 17 in most states. BUT, once you move, your parents are not responsible for anything for you. No food, clothes, medical, no anything. You will be on your own and the real world sucks more than your homelife possibly does. AND, don't count on so-called friends to support you or you will find out the cruel side of people. I moved out at 17

I know in Toronto Canada you can move out by the age of 16

yes you can if you are in scotland, i left at 16, but you would be beter sitting down withyour mum and dad and trying to resolve any bad situation if there is one, remember thiugh you would need to pay rent electricity, gas grocery shopping buying stuff for your house etc, unless you have a decent job you might not be able to manage this on your own, at least if you stay with your parents you could save up for your own flat.

You can move at anytime, but you need to realize what you are leaving. Food, Shelter and Clothing for free. If you can do it on your own, by all means go. You're only hurting yourself if you are not ready.

yes. you can get emancipated by the court at 16. but once you're 17, the parents really won't care as long as you're set up with an apt and job or school.

Yes, if you have parental consent or if you are Emancipated which means you go before a judge and he will decide the merits of your case.

well you will have to go to health and human services. tell them you need some time a way from your family they can get you a place and you can live on your own or at least away from your family
