I recommend this site http://wholesale.50webs.org , they have up to 90% off retail prices. This is the best place to go for start ups too, as there are low minimum order quantities and thousands of suppliers listed to choose from.

A great place to start are either massive online auctions for bulk parts or also you can buy lists of distributors. Once you get the distributors lists you can purchase the parts most of them have a minimum order but some dont. If your just starting off small auctions might be your way to go. You won't have to commit any money and you can still get a great price. This website i found has auction sites as well as wholesale distribtor help: www.wholesalehelpers.com

Contact the manufacturers. They will either sell in bulk to you directly or direct you to a wholesaler in your area.

This company isn't wholesale, but the parts are relatively cheap: http://www.techdata.com
