If she's hungry, feed her. No matter what time it is.

baby's should be fed when hungry, not necessarily on a strict schedule. If the baby is getting hungry before she would normally eat, she's probably just didn't get enough at the previous feeding. Remember, babies are growing, she could be going through a growth spurt and wants to eat more often. The more they grow the more they'll want to eat. As long as the baby is gaining weight appropriatly there shouldn't be any need for concern.

Nope. In fact there are different times when your baby will seem to eat more then usual because she is going through a growth spurt. Babies will let you know when they are hungry. My son is 3 months old, some days he'll want a 2oz bottle every 2 hours. Other days he wants 4oz every three hours.

You're probably doing a great job as is. Good luck!

Follow your baby's lead. When she is hungry, feed her. Don't watch the clock or try to schedule her feedings. Would YOU like it if someone told you, "Nope....sorry. I can see you're hungry but I'm not gonna feed you for 30 more mins because the CLOCK says it's not time for you to eat." Trust your baby. Trust your instincts. If the baby is hungry, feed her, just like you'd feed yourself!

There are two schools of thought...

Some people that you should feed a baby on a fixed schedule on a fixed amount.

Others believe that you can feed on demand cos your baby knows when is enough and will stop when she has had enough and knows when she needs to eat.. their body instincts are very strong especially when they are babies..

I belong to the second category and my baby has been growing very ok.. you can see cute pictures of him here:

Anyway, my blog is about my baby's growing up and how I handled it.. you might want to read it for some reference but start from the earlier ones where the baby was closer to your daughter's age ;)

No honey, newborns will let you know when they are hungry.
If in any doubt, when baby cries run through the checklist: Are they wet/dirty?
Are they cold/hot
Is she/he just thirsty?
If none of the aboe apply and a little cuddle wont settle them then they probably want more!!!
When my boy was first born he fed every half an hour!!!! So dont worry, you baby will ley you know what htey when they need it.
Enjoy your little bundle xx

It depends on how often she is eating. This happened to my son,he wanted to eat every 2 hours. The doctor said he should'nt be eating that often.3-4 hours. We found out he had milk allergies and could'nt get enough down at one feeding. After that he went back to 3-4 hours.
