Adding all the plants comes to 120. So if there is only one plant put in a box then 120 boxes are needed in all. 120 divided by 5 = 24 so 24 packages of 5 boxes each need to be bought by the garden club.

18 + 24 + 12 + 36 + 30 = 120/5 = 24 packages of boxes.

you need to add up all the plants thats how many boxes you will need and then divide by 5 to see how many packages of 5 you will need ( thats not what they are asking though they want you to tell them how many boxes are needed ok hope that helps
