I am trying to print documents over a network on my hp LaserJet 1300 Printer. It sends the documents from the printer, but nothing prints. If I turn off the printer and turn it back on again, everything will start printing. Is there something that I can change that will make the documents print automatically? Is this a printer buffer issue?

Does the printer have an "Online" button? Be sure the Online button is lit.

Your word processor may be set to wait for a signal from the printer before printing. Look at your print menus to see if a box or drop-down selection labeled something like "manual feed" is selected. That will stop a printer dead in its tracks.
