What are you running away from? I live in Canada and it's a wonderful place. I can tell you all about it, if you like.(contact me) If you are thinking of running away from home, I would highly recommend you don't. Your family would be devastated and you would regret it. It's a lot harder to make it on your own than you expect( I moved out at 15, big mistake)

If run away you must, you'd probably be better off running away in the U.S, or wherever you own country is.

Why? Unless you have a work permit, you'll have to do work "under the table" for sleazy exploitive employers. (unless you are planning on becoming a professional beggar).

At least in the U.S. you could get a good honest job at Wendy's or Wal-Mart or something.

Besides that, when you cross the border, you're going to have to explain where you are going, for how long, how you will support yourself, and show some sort of identification. The immigration people manning the crossings are really good at spotting runaways trying to bs their way into Ca.

Make it TO Canada? Of course. Make it IN Canada? That is entirely dependent on what sort of person you are. Are you willing to get a job and be a decent person and a contributing member of society? Then, the answer would be "YES"! Try Vancouver. I hear it is beautiful there. If you'd rather be on the mainland, try Abbotsford, BC. Low cost of living.

Why Canada?
Do you have some sort of skill you can offer their work force? Are you planning to be a functioning, working part of their society? Do you speak French?

Sounds like somebody got grounded again. How about talking to a school counselor if your parents are too hard to talk to.

Why Canada?
Of course they have immigration standards too. They enforce theirs though.
