I knew this was going to come up..,our military does not intentionally go out and shoot our allies.Put your self in the military's situation..,things are so heated over there and you have to be quick to react. We are sorry for the deaths..,but canadians have killed some of our boys and we dont shove it down your throat. It was an accident and people are human and make mistakes..,do you make mistakes?

Insist? Poor choice of words. Allies are accidently killed all the time by friendly fire and as one responder correctly pointed out, the U.S. has also killed many of their own. As a Canadian I feel for the families of the soldiers killed on both sides but soldiers die. Don't expect sympathy from responders, most of the people on this site seem to get a kick out of answers that show their ignorance .

The Fog of War.

The US military has killed (by accident) more US soldiers then we ever want to now about. So don't feel like the allies are getting the worst of it and don't think that US soldiers have not died by accident from friendly fire from it's allies. It sucks but friendly fire has resulted in the deaths of soldiers on all sides of the battlefield and has happened in all most all battlefields through-out history.

It's not deliberate; it's an accident. If I were in the military and I accidentally shot a fellow serviceperson, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself.
