It all started at the beginning of summer, first my friend introduce me to my now boyfriend. I thought she was happy for me but now all she does is yell at me about being with him and how she hates him, but she introduced us. Then she is also my boss at work and I needed to work nights because I have school during the day so because I wouldn't cover her mornings on her days off she cut my hours by half!!! She told me I don't spend enough time with her but she's soooo mean to me and everytime I'm happy and I have my life going the way I want she always seems to be mad this isn't the first time. Plus I don't spend all my time with my boyfriend I have school, work, and family when I'm not doing those things of course I want to be with my boyfriend not my mean friend. Plus she has her own life she's married with kids. I thought we were friends but she brings to much drama in my life that I don't need what should I do she's my friend and my BOSS????

loose the friend. negative friends can riun your health. you may love her but you need to stop seeing her until she can keep her negativity away from you.

Anyone who acts like this is not your friend, friendships & work or bosses do not mix, they are just not workable, I would tell her to get out of my happy life, and find someone else to pick on, she needs to put her energy into her own family & leave you alone, good luck with your new boyfriend, and by all means stay close to your family, they will always be there for you, no matter what.

Your "friend" would be what Oprah calls a "toxic friend". Those kind of people will only drag you down. You are probably oozing happiness and she can't stand it. Misery loves company.
In all seriousness, you should not consider her a friend and keep your involvement strictly professional. Meanwhile, you should look for a new place of employment.

Pure jealousy. Lose her. I can tell you from experience that getting rid of those friends that suck the life out of you is one of the best things you can do. It's not easy but well worth it. Good luck!

Get a new boss, get a new friend. Preferably not one who is also your boss.

I just love these complicated ridiculously-long, meandering, single-sentence questions that no one can possibly answer! How the hell can we offer any kind of reasonably good response when we have no idea about the situation?

Thank god there is a character limit, or we have to read even more of this pathetic tale.

i think she is jealous of you and is taking it out on you because you dont spend all your time with her like you used to. i would depart from her and keep it professional at work.

That is NO friend.
Unless that bit*ch pays you $100K, get yourself another job and forget you ever knew her...
Actually after thinking about that, since she is your boss, I would sue her for harassment...
