Necessary? Intercourse isnt necessary for anyone, male or female before marriage. In fact, you shouldnt partake in that bond until marriage. Thats one of the things that makes a marriage a special bond, you are sharing a part of yourself with your spouse, a part that no one has had before. Its special. Didnt your mother ever tell you, why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free?

Necessary? Heck no. I would have absolutely no problem being a virgin on my wedding night. However, I doubt I will be.

I do find it interesting that you don't pose this question about guys. Why is it that girls have to worry about this and not guys? I mean when was the last time you hear a guy worry about having sex outside of marriage?

Necessary? No.

Premarital sex is fine as long as it is done responsibly; however there is NO NEED to have sex before marriage. If a girl doesn't feel comfortable with it, then she should not be forced to have sex.
Hell, this should apply even after marriage. A woman should NEVER be forced or required to have sex, no matter what!

No, it is not necessary. Although, sex is special and sacred to the both of you, whatever partner it is. Do not sleep with someone for the sake of sleeping with them; you'll only lose respect for yourself, and your partner will tell EVERYONE how easy you are.

Sex is a special experience and means nothing without strong emotions for who you are having sex with.

Be smart-- always use protection, keep track of your cycle to prevent pregnancy, but keep in mind there are STD's and no one is immune.

Take care,
:*

Absolutely not.

Having said that, I would say that it depends on When you plan on getting married. If someone reached the age of - to name an arbitrary age, say, 30 without ever having had the experience of sexual intimacy- then I'd have to ask myself if she had some "issues" around closeness or sexuality.

But even then, it's perfectly ok, it's her choice. It's just a little sad and a bit of a waste.

No. But the girl should be attracted to the man and know who she is marrying....there should be a definite encouragement of a show of affection, not like arranged marriages in India. I feel sorry for women who marry a man for convenience and a man who they haven't even kissed...that is worse than girls getting pregnant before marriage.

It's not "necessary" for girls or boys. We may want it or think we do, but marriage is the safest bed... I mean bet. Or do I?

No; my husband and I were both virgins when we got married. I will never regret it; it's the best wedding present you can ever give him. It's been 2 1/2 years, keeps getting better and better.

Didn't you ever watch Sex and the City? Charlotte slept with her fiance the night before the wedding and found out he couldn't get it up.
