What kind of soap do you use? You should use an antibacterial soap such as Dial. Bathe at least once a day.
Are your clothes clean? Maybe it is your clothes that smell.
How about your shoes? Are they stinky old sneakers? Do your feet sweat? Do you wear plastic shoes? Try wearing sandals.
There are many different kinds of deoderants. Also if this is the problem, your doctor may be able to prescribe something stronger.
Go slow with the perfume, it just covers up other odors.

I saw a program on TLC I don't remember what it was called but there was a segment on women that have an extreme body odor that smells very fishy that comes from their sweat glands. It cannot be washed off or anything. They found that it can be controlled with diet. It is a very rare genetic condition called trimethylaminuria or “Fish Odor Syndrome,” which causes severe body odor. This condition is a recessive inborn error of metabolism. This means that people who inherit one gene for it from each parent can be affected. The genetic defect involves an enzyme that breaks down trimethylamine, a by-product of protein digestion released by bacteria living in the intestines. This molecule is the compound that gives fish their fishy odor; it has been described as smelling “foul” or “garbage-like” at low concentrations and “fishy” in larger amounts.

Trimethylaminuria can appear at any age, often depending upon the patient’s diet. It is exacerbated by choline, which is found in eggs, liver and other organ meats, legumes, and some grains. It can also be exacerbated by eating foods such as salt water fish, which contain trimethylamine-oxide. The good news is that symptoms can often be reduced by following a low-protein diet that restricts foods containing choline or trimethylamine-oxide. Some people also report that limiting lecithin (a common food additive that is also naturally found in eggs, soybeans, and corn) also helps reduce their body odor. In some patients, avoiding dark green leafy vegetables and broccoli may help as well. Because the odor is produced by the normal bacteria of the gut, low-dose antibiotics may also help reduce the odor-producing load.

Go to a health food store and ask for a natural deoderant without aluminium salts in it...I had the same problem and got an aloe-based deoderant from the hf store and that helped...it also isn't as bad for your pores as the other deoderant. There is also some concern about a possible link between the aluminium salts in commercial deoderant and breast cancer.

Look, if you are serious, there was Dateline or 20/20 special on TV about 2 weeks ago about this woman who was humiliated all her life because she smelled bad even after showers. It is actually a disease or disorder of some sort where she had to really regulate her diet and take a medication? and do other special things to hold back the stink. Check it out. There is actually some kind of clinic or foundation or association of people that you can contact to get help. Seriously.....try to Google it.

If it's an underarm issue, try Degree. As far as your whole body, I agree with the dial soap, but it can be harsh on darker skin (ashy). Try Aveeno body wash (Positively Radiant especially) because it is scented and contains a sort of coat that is thin and non-greasy on the skin, but it really has staying power. I use Aveeno body wash as well as Aveeno lotion (Positively Radiant) and I smell so good all day. I hope that helps!

Go to a doctor immediately. I too had this problem and when I went to the doctor they discovered that I had an infection in my lymph glands. This infections, since there were no external signs, could only show itself through the body odor. A couple of surgeries later to correct the infection and all was well.

OK you could be having a clash of fragrances. also the products for your hair. Smell every thing you use and see if you smell like one of the products. Try using a deodorant without sent and hair products with similar smells.

no offense but are you overweight? if you are that may be the problem. if not are you using enough soap? use a stronger and better deoderant!
