and concrete with our lives. Is this all there is? The only thing to get you through the day? What the hell are we even doing here? Wasting time and making ourselves feel better, because we're helping someone? Maybe we could help someone that actually needed it? Or are we all too focused on ourselves to look up and realize the world around us?

And do you consider a 14 yr old girl thinking about which boy she should have a crush on, "in need", because I don't.

wow this question got the whole gambit of responses, pretty interesting. Yeah I could do without the "whcih guy should I choose" or how do I ask a guy out questions" but I do think there is some validity to people having a forum for these issues, albeit many questions are pretty trivial and many posters need to grow up a bit even if they are 14.

Well seems to me that your wasting your time asking this question. And this website is to help people. Maybe some of us are compassion on helping others, espcially the younger ones that probably don't have anyone else to turn to.

This is as valid as most activities.

I get tired of hearing "when will my period start" and "does he like me" too.

I think of this thing as sort of a global mind. It kind of is in a way. When the problems of 14 year old girls and of 90 year old men are both being considered in the same forum its kind of like a magic place. We get a window into what others who are not like us are thinking. Valuable. Ask good questions.

I see you are level 2 so that means you have been "wasting time" here too.

14 year old girls have valid questions, too!

I don't think trying to help someone in need is a "waste of time".

Good point. Very insightful. I personally think that teenagers should try to talk to their parents rather than get advice on the inter net.

I am at work. It is something to do in the filler time. I don't think EVERYONE on here is 14, but oh well.
