Paul Atreides, from Frank Herberts Dune series is called Muad'dib meaning "kangaroo mouse" by the Freeman. Once ruler of Arrakis, the only planet in the known universe to contain Melange...or "the spice" which is produced by the great Shai Hulud(sand worms) when they are young "sand trout". Muad'dib or Paul Atreides is also known as the Kwisatz Haderach, meaning "shortening of the way" also "the one who can be many places at once". As he is a fictional character, it is impossible for anyone to really know him, but I have read of him in the Dune series. Very good books, I suggest you read them.....

Dune.

And its Muad'dib. It was the name given to Paul Atreides by the Fremen. He later turned out to be the Quizich'Hatarach or the Mahdi.

I do, indeed. He lives next door to me and we do 'spice' together to make our eyes turn blue. It's great fun, although he is a bit moody and mysterious sometimes.
