Life, my life, for it is the life that matters. It is life that necessitates temporal death. Without a profound sense of life death would be meaningless. If I then choose to die for anything else that anything will again be within life, and for life. Peace, my dreams, my purpose, and everything is what our life is made up of. To die for many of these things then would be to die for life.

Dying for us is an important business, and important still are matter of our life. We live well in order to die well, and then we die well with a hope that life will be better even when we are not here. Such is our love for life - essential and innate.

Im not ready to die, and I would not even know what I would be prepared to take on risk wise until the situation presents itself, but I am a risk taker so friends/family are obvious.

I would die if it meant that the people I love could keep on living. I would die to give my Gramma back some of her youth, and die to give my parents back all the time they wasted on raising me, and to give my best friend and her kids a good life. If I could do any of those things just by dying, then bring on the firing squad

I think only a demon would ask that kind of question! As for me there is really nothing in this life time to die for! Sure I love my cats.
But they are gone. I don't know if I would've died to save them.. didn't get the chance to find
out! This world is mostly hell with a tiny bit of goodness!

I would die for the truth if it became necessary.
Fortunately, I don't know the truth, and it is unlikely to become necessary.
I think I will only die when I have to. though if it gets too disgusting or painful, I might go a bit earlier.

Some of the serious answers to this question have brought a tear to my eye. My heart goes out to Jayteaches especially. I share her answer, although I am lucky enough to only be losing my son to university.
