My foreskin does not cover the head of my penis when flaccid. Is this normal? My doctor sees my penis and she does not say anything. My foreskin is back away from my head but when i get a hard on, it goes all the way back.

The foreskin does not PRODUCE smegma. Smegma is the accumulation of sloughed off epithelial cells along with fatty emolients from disolved cell membranes. This sloughing off occurs on all your skin all the time. It accumulates only where a person lets it. It is generally a natural protectant for skin in the folds of any part of the body.

If your glans is never covered, you are in rare company. The condition known as aposthia - the naturally occuring apparent lack of foreskin - was noted in the Prophet Mohammad. Every mammal on earth (except bats) and in the sea has evolved a foreskin.

You haven't described anything that warrants any alarm.

Sounds to me like you've been circumcised. This is a procedure where the foreskin is removed from the head of the penis as a safeguard to prevent certain sexual diseases and for cleanliness. It's done in infancy, shortly after baby boys are born if that's what their parents request. It's also done as a religious rite among Jewish male babies. Ask your parents if you were ever circumcised when you were born. If you're too embarrassed to ask them, then ask your doctor. She won't be shocked.

This is normal. Even if you are uncut, your foreskin is just naturally less in volume. As long as it does not hurt and you function normally then all is well. A lot of men has exactly the same "set-up"

Its perfectly ok dear. Always keep it clean by cold water on daily basis. Also try to wear loose undergarments.
