Due to pressure to keep extra funds from federal monies, police need to show a positive step in the drug enforcement.
There are instances of bad cops, and a cop can profile you,and search, just because he believes you have something.
If you have nothing to be ashamed of, and nothing to get you in trouble, would it be ok to request a search of the officer before they go in your privacy?
If they found something, after they refused to let a search of their person, could you push entrapment?
Can you press for violation of civil rights?

About the violation I don't know, but we should be allowed to search the cops. They are not better than anyone

Interesting--requesting to search cops. I haven't thought about it.

I know that the Supreme Court ruled that police can search anyone at anytime for weapons ONLY, and that anything else they find is inadmissable (unless they do find a weapon, in which case anything else they find, i.e. drugs, is admissable).

Also, you are not under obligation to allow them into your home without a warrant, nor your car during a routine traffic stop.

The porch is in plan view alongside with that's contents, no seek warrant mandatory. They have been of course following up on a decision related to a pink motorcycle. in case you had opened your door and asked they might have advised you and in all probability might have asked you some questions like have you ever had problems with things being taken off your porch or have you ever heard approximately thefts occurring contained in the complicated.

Most people wouldn't know how to thoroughly search a cop, anyway. If a policeman really wanted to plant something, he could find a way to hide it so that a civilian would never be able to find the "evidence"

Search the police what for you can see they are armed. But, what if your father was a policeman or your mother and they stopped someone for a tail light out and all they were going to do was inform the person of a tail light being out. And what if this person just happened to have killed someone not very long before being pulled over. The unsuspecting policeman trying to help gets shot and killed and you are now without your parent because of some jerk that has no regard for human life or property. And let us say that now this killer is out and he comes to your house and ties you up and rapes you rwife and daughter right before your eyes and you are powerless to stop him. WHO ARE YOU GOING TO CALL TO HELP YOU ??????? oh, the cops and you the jerk that opposes them are now going to need them. No one likes to see the police until we need them. So to me ignorant questions like this one should go unanswered.

i hate cops... in this city they take their jobs for granted and use their powers to race cith owned cars through town, (thats race each other, not bad guys) they killed a retarded man for carrying a two liter soda (they thought it was a weapon) they beat the jibbies out of an eithty year old woman cause she waited till she was in a well lit area before pulling over ( as the cops suggested) two cops rented out a bed room of their house to child molestors and harbored child porn,,,, nope i dont care for em

dude, I totally think that a cop should let you search them or show you that they have nothing on them. They could plant something in your house for all you know! Whoa, that is a good question, the best one I have heard on here. Very unique.

Oh I would love to search a cop. Kind of kinky but sounds like fun. You mean like a strip search?

Let me answer your question this way.....

Please go the the nearest mirror in your house.
Look deeply into your eyes.
Look deeper.
Please understand that you are looking into the eyes of a fool.

I can't understand why people fear the cops unless they have reason to be fearful. I welcome the police to search me and others in order to keep me and my family safe. I don't understand why people resent the police who are the thin blue line between us and the bad guys.
