Friends? As a female you can meat new people easily. But they usually don't want to be friends but rather get into your pants.
As a male its harder. If you really want to make friends you have to somehow prove that you are not one of the millions of sex-seekers.
So the answer is YES, it is hard to make friends here.

It is hard to make friends on the internet... You never know what sort of pervs you are gonna meet....
Just be careful and dont give out any personal info....
Im a female and I have the same problem.. Start chattin with someone and they want to get all sicko and perverted!!!!!

I think it is a stupid waste of time to try to make friends on the net. What is the point of it all. Why don't you go out and try to make friends in real life? I mean, are we as a society going to become people who don't leave our houses and stay on the computer all the time and waste our lives away? What are you going to do with an internet friend anyhow? Go virtual bowling, go to a virtual bar, play virtual poker? It doesn't make sense.
