hey i forgot how to do negitive exponents....so can some1 plz tell me how and what is 11to the negitive 3rd power?

11^(-3) = 1 / (11^3)

= 1 / 1331

= 0.000751315

Negative exponent is the same as 1 divided by the result of a positive exponent, so 11 to the -3 would be the same as 1 divided by 11^3, or .000751...

A negative exponent simply means the exponent is placed in the denominator.

Please don't confuse these 2 problems: 2m^(-3) and (2m)^-3. In the first problem, ONLY the m will be placed in the denominator. In the second example, the entire problem becomes the denominator.

11^(-3) is the same as 1/11^3

The negative exponent moves the term to the denominator and becomes positive.

negative powers mean you divide by 11 to the power of 3. So work out 1 / (11*11*11) and you've got your answer.

1331 thats the answer it isnt negative

11^-3=11*11*11=1331 if odd exponent=negative.. if even exponent=positive..

answer= -1331
