My kid is asking body questions?

I am a stay at home mom. I have a 10 year old son. He has recently started getting a 'bulge' in his shorts. (A penis errection.) He wants to know why his 'private part' does this. He does not have a dad. Also he's 10 but he still doesn't know what boobs are for. We all still see eachother naked. He keeps asking about my boobs. I can't really blame him because they are 44DD. How do I explain all this? What do I say? How much do I tell him? Should we get naked and let me acually show him what does what? Please help me, I'm lost!

I told him what moms boobs are for feeding babies. He didn't get it. After about 2 hours of trying to explain I took off my top and showed him. I had him feel them. He got an errection. Then I tried to explain why he gets an errection. I told him it happens when he gets excited or when he needs to pee. He still didn't get what 'excited' ment. So after a while I explained that he got excited because he touched my boobies. I explained that getting excited ment he wanted to have sex. Then I had to explain sex. Could I have done it better or differant?

He is 10 for god sake..... There are other ways to teach your child the functions of those body parts. I do not think getting naked with your son is appropriate! Ten year olds see bodies all day and if you hav ehim in front of the tv he sees plenty of body parts! Does he have a trusted grandfather or uncle he can talk too? You may want to talk to his pediatrician about this as a doctor probably knows a lot more ABOUT HIS CHANGING BODY THAT ANY ONE! TALK TO A DOCTOR!

he is at an age where you need to be practicing some privacy. And, you need to be talking in a frank and scientific way. Tell him the proper names for body parts and also explain that they are called "privates" because they are meant to be that way. Unless you are sharing a studio apartment, there is no reason for him to see you naked and visa versa.

Okay. Sit him down. Talk about his questions to you. Explain him that the body does it because of this and that.. But explain it the kids way, you know, add flowers, bees, and what ever to it, to make it more easier, less complicated and less dirtier. Otherwise he will tell the whole world about it and his classmates and you wouldnt want that to happen, so tell them the kiddie way.. Make examples, say that for example, this happens because for some reason God wants to let this happen to you, because it is going to be useful in the future and you will find out yourself..

I dont really think he should still see u naked at this age. Are you going to get naked in front of him after he hits puberty? You should really talk to a doctor or someone really closed to you, and ask for good advice. Him not having a father its hard, for you and him.

Do not let him see Mommy naked ever again!!! In school, ask if he will be doing a "health class" anytime soon. And most importantly, contact your child physician or doctor to help explain it to the kid. Please stop seeing each other naked, it is only harmful to the child's mind.

Tell him as little as you can get by with in simple terms. Don't act surprised or ashamed, but do not show him anything of yours.Maybe he can watch as you change a baby girls diaper sometime and see there is a difference.
