Rush will be giving opinion commentary on CBS news with Katie Couric, Thursday. Some believe he's a propagandist, he admits he's not a journalist. Is this an appropriate segment for "the news"?

What is wrong with Rush doing commentary when it is presented as such? Commentators are on many nightly news programs these days. What with 24/7 access to news, people don't just need to have the news regurgitated over and over each hour, they also like to get people's perspective as well. Everyone knows Rush is conservative, so there will be no misunderstanding which side of the issue he will come down on...whatever it is.

Any credability CBS hopes to gain by Katie Couric's acension to lead anchor will be diminished by the idiot Rush. He must be getting the really good drugs for Les Moonves for this debacle! I'll stick w/ Brian Williams if this is what CBS thinks is good news reporting. I give Couric 8 months b4 she's replaced if Limbaugh does indeed get this gig. She'll last a lot longer if this is just supposition. Tsk, tsk, tsk, CBS. What the hell are you thinking?!

It has been years since network news did NOT consist of agenda-driven propaganda. Rush's appearance doesn't change anything.

That you don't like his point of view is a legitimate starting point for discussion, but the propriety of his appearance on the news was decided long ago when the media became 100% propaganda all the time.

Who cares what Rush does? He is just another example of the hyporisy of the right. The man demonizes the ACLU, drug users and a whole host of other people- yet he used the ACLU when it suited him and he IS a drug addict. The man has no credibility. Yet another FELON with money who gets off with a hand slap. They should have punished him just like he adovcates we punish other drug addicts.

Holier than thou people on the left and the right make me sick.

"F" Rush, who says liberals need to be saved? Seems HE needs to be saved.

No need to admit he's NOT a journalist becuase it is clear he is not-- he's just another talking head on the radio.

He's an entertainer. If the radio station he started at needed a liberal spin doctor instead of a conservative his ideas would be further left than communism and he'd make Teddy Kennedy look like a fascist.

Nobody will mistake Katie and Rush for Aristotle and Plato. It sounds like a SNL routine. Let's play another round of "Who's the Dope?" Remember when we had real broadcast news? Nah, I didn't think so.

Most news analyst really are not of this world. They are liberal jack-----, and could not be swayed in their thought even if Jesus Christ disagreed. Katie Couric is like all the rest of the liberal except better looking .

Sometimes it's just so amusing to watch delusional people in action.

Rush accepts the help of the ACLU is his personal lawsuit, then turns around and denigrates everything they stand for. Pure hypocrisy.
