Personally, I think all babies are ugly at birth...it takes time for them to look good. I think they hid her aways just to make everyone so curiuos and to get the media fix they wanted...hey, it worked!

I think that they realized how idiotic they both looked with all of the public affection, kissing, cuddling, etc. and when Suri was finally born they decided to get some privacy.
However, IMO, Suri was adopted. I'm sorry but Katie's pregnancy was too weird. I mean one day her stomach would be huge and then the next it looked as if she wasn't even pregnant.

Most babies are not cute at birth because their features haven't yet been developed. I think Suri is a beautiful baby. I think her parents just wanted to keep the first few months private for themselves before sharing her with the world.

Well, most parents are blinded when it comes to that, i mean, everyone thinks they have the cutest baby ever right? So I doubt that was it. When you have a kid they are so fragile and it is such an intimate time, I didnt even like my Mom sending assloads of pics of my baby to all of her friends all over the internet, just because I felt there was no privacy. That wore off after a while.

She's their baby, they can keep her hid for as long as they darn well please. I think it's sad how obsessed the world is with this baby while children the world over are starving, being beaten, etc. The LRA's doings aren't getting half the coverage that this kid is (for those of you who don't know what I mean, LRA is Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda, look it up). I mean come on, what the heck is so darn special about this baby?

all new born's aren't the prettiest right away but they should be in the eyes of their parents. what's that saying ? " beauty is in the eye of the beholder " maybe tom's standards were too high and she wasn't what he expected. all that hair,how strange. i'll be showing my age for saying this but have you ever heard the song "surrey [ SURI ] with fringe on top " lol

The truth is most babies aren't all that cute when they first pop out, even if you think they are, they are not. Babies don't really get cute until they are a couple months old. As for why they were hiding the baby, it's obvious, the baby is a clone of Hitler. I came to the conclusion when I drew a mustache on the baby's pic.

I think all babies are sort of awful looking when they are first born. In reality though I think that often celebrities like to take a break from having every facet of their lives exposed to a morbidly curious public.

I think they just wanted to release photos of her when the time was right, like they said. I think they wanted to just enjoy their newborn with a little privacy.

I think she is a beautiful little girl. I have seen some ugly celebrity babies and she is not one of them.
