1 gig of pc3200 ram.


I will probably take the gig stick and put it in the new pc if i get it.....

It's not going to give you that "wow this is soooo much faster feeling". The best part about this upgrade is that the 3200 supports 64 bit applications.

Hi. Yes, switch the DDR and your new machine should be faster for some application, especially when you are running more than one program. Make sure the motherboard in the new machine can support the 400MHz RAM speed.

Probably not...you need to upgrade the RAM to at least 512MB, if not the 1GB you had before. Once you do that, it should be.
