How can I check to see if I am fertile?

I need to know how I can find out if I am fertile sexually, minus just sleeping with a girl to see if she gets pregnant. I would also like to know generally how much this would cost to find out. I need Real Answers here not "dont know" or "good luck with that" THANKS

My husband had to give a sample to the hospital. Call a 'family planning' clinic first to locate the correct doctor who does the testing, and you will need to provide a fresh sample.

We haven't received a bill yet, but I think it's between $100 - 200. Testing for fertility for a woman costs $600.00. You guys ought to be much less than that.

You will need to go to a doctor or a clinic for that. You cant just check on your own. I am not sure about the guys but for a female the lab test is expensive and depending on why you need or want this done, insurance may not cover this test. You might be able to call a lab and ask thiem how much they charge for a fertility test on a man. Then it will be up to you whether or not you think it is worth the cost. Go to your doctor and tell him you would like to know if your fertile he will be able to refur you to a specialist or could maybe do it on his own as far as what it would cost if you have no insurence i couldn't tell you that part if you do it should just cost your deductable...

You can probably go to your doc for a sperm motility check. This will probably run you several hundred dollars for the pathology.

Alternately, you can donate to a sperm bank. In the initial screening, I'm sure they check for things like abnormal shape, estimated count, motility, etc. It might be a less expensive way to go!
