6 months away from the WORLD CUP is not the right time to be experiementing! By now you should have spent the last three years experiementing and be coming to a settled team with only four or five replacement players outside your first XI that can come in and out. You need stability and consistancy this close to the cup. That is one reason England can right off their campaign, they have been chopping and changing, and plagued by injuries. Meanwhile, Australia, SA, Sri Lanka and Pakistan have all been performing reasonably consistantly, have settled squads, and and building up towards the cup nicely....

Since the world cup is round the corner, it is absolutely necessary to find a good combination of 11 players for the world cup. Keeping this in mind, there is nothing wrong in doing the experiments now.
