No.. I have never bred mice as pets.. but have had mice that bred like crazy on their own.. I have also never heard of any of my friends or acquaintances who have had mice as pets and bred them.

Yes, I've bred mice. The biggest thing is to keep the male isolated from the mother after the babies are born. Sometimes male mice will eat the little pinkies. I'd probably take the male out as soon as the female starts to look pregnant, just to be safe.

With the babies, make sure the cage is always clean, and make sure the mom has plenty of bedding to make a nest.

After a little bit, the babies grow up into hoppers, which are basically mice on meth or teenage mice. Beware the hoppers.

Your first time around, I would only use one male and one female, which would give you one litter of babies. Otherwise things will spiral out of control pretty quickly.

I hope you have lots of room for mice!

As a general rule you just feed and water them and leave them alone. Also you have fewer problems with the male if you have more female mice, i.e. 2 males to 3-4 females per cage

Honestly why must you breed your mice. There's enough in this world that they you really don't need to start breeding them. Thats just in my opinion but good luck with that if you go through with it.

aww, mice are soo cute, i want some, but we just got a hamster instead, anyway, just keep her fed and watered, you already know that, lol, but if you give her a place to make a new nest and give her some newspaper and s few small peices of cardboard. dont make the nest for her, she will do that, its in her blood, she will be more likely to keep and care for her babies if she makes the nest herself... if you do everything for her then she will get dependant on you... when the babies are born take the male out of the cage and dont clean the babies up, she will do that, depending on how much she trusts you I wouldnt pick up any of the babies for awhile, petting them might be ok, but the mother likes to know her babies are safe and they also need to keep her scent on them and not yours, she might abandon them if they dont smell like they are supposed to... good luck and may the birth go very well

Just keep her fed and watered. Also give her a box to have her babies in with some newspaper or other paper product for her to shred up to make the nest. When she gets close to having the babies remove the male or he will eat the babies.
