Peggy Lee sang "Why Don't You Do Right" with the Benny Goodman Orchestra around 1942. There was also a thirties version of that song which I have somewhere, but I can't recall the singer offhand. You should be able to find the Peggy Lee version though!

billie Holiday's voice was too distinctive for what you're looking for. Although If you want a jazz/blues masterclass just pick up one of her CDs. Ella Fitzgerald is closer to what you want.
Jessica Rabbit's singing voice was provided by ex Mrs Steven Spielberg, Amy Irving.
