Yes, he has delusions of grandeur, that he is unanswerable to anyone, that he is a law unto himself, that he doesn't need to listen to his party advisers as he is the boss - in a third world country he would be called a Dictator, but this is democratic Britain isn't it, so he gets away with it all.

There is much concern that Blair is nothing but Bush's lapdog. Six members of his party have resigned and there are many calls for him to step down as PM. Bush has used him too, as he convinced Blair that once they used Saddam and the trumped up WMD debacle that the Iraqis would welcome us and we would have a foothold in Iraq to better control oil and the Mid East. Once Blair saw how miserably Bush's "STRATERGTY" failed he was trapped in the whole web of deceit.

Not at all.

If Mr Blair appears distant, it is possibly because Human Nature forces us to move on. He has been P.M. for 10 years, and also became 'Statesman'. The natural progression means that Statesman takes over and British Politics pale.

Only an observation.

I'm not sure he was all that sane to start with. Did you ever see the docu-drama on Channel 4 about his uni days?

Has he done anything remotely sane recently?

I didn't think so. So the answer must be yes.
