Alabama: One thing I love about this state is the fact that we have four seasons. We only have about two months of unbearable hot weather, July & August. Football starts in September both high school and college. I live in the big city of Birmingham, and we are about 100 miles away from the "smokey mountains". I live four-hours away from the gulf coast, and the whitest sand there is in the world. Our winters are short, but we will have some snow, maybe two, one in January, and one in February. March will bring in the tornadoes, and rain.
April. That is the time we plant, normally after "Good Friday".
Places to vist would be Atlanta @ 160 miles away. The German town of "Helen" Ga. is fantistic during October feast. It is in the hight mountains of Georgia. The trees seem to be a million colors during October. We are consumed in lakes and dams, in fact the Pro Bass Tournament has just ended on Lake Logan Martin. I live on the lake, and If I get hungy for a Bass, or Crappie I will venture down to the pier and cast a bout 10 times, and in thirty minutes fresh fish is on.

Nothing cool about the state where I now live I can think of except pretty scenery. I used to live in Texas. That was very cool. Texas has everything from mountain, to deserts, to oceans. Sorry, I guess I am a Texan at heart. Big brags about Texas. Many cultures, lots of interesting things to do. Seaworld, Six Flags, deep sea fishing, beautiful lakes and rivers to camp on.

I live in NE Ohio. The only cool thing I can say is that we have a nice park system. Lots of county parks that are well maintianed with bike trails and hiking trails, and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with planty of hiking, biking and attractions as well. That would be the greatest highlight in my state for me.
