If you are far enough along it should show positive no matter what time of day you test. With my first child I was 1.5 months and I took mine at night and it was bright pink instantly. With my second child I took one a few days after I missed my period and it showed negative. I retested a week later and it was pink. So it really depends on high your hormone levels are at the time that you test.

It really depends on how long it has been since you missed your period. If it has only been like a week or 2 since you missed it then you should definately wait till morning, but if it has been more than that there is some chance it could still come up negative when it should be positive but still possible to give the correct result. The morning is definately the best time though, even the instructions on the test will tell you that.

if you take one in the morning it has the most pregnancy hormone in it. That is why they say to do it then. You can still take one in the evening but you may get a false neg. I say for best results wait till the morning. Hope it all works out for you!

As long as you've missed your period, you can test any time of day or night. The hcg level is more concentrated in your urine in the morning, so in this case you'd have a better chance of getting an accurate result if you tested before you missed your period.

It is much more accurate to wait until the first time you urinate in the morning. You could get a false negative if you take it at any other time of day.

Modern tests don't need to be taken at a spific time.

Think about it for a second, if you go to the doctor they will give you a test right there in the office they don't tell ya to come back tomorow, and they wont tell ya "oh by the way don't pee before you get here."

Most tests come in packs of two. I always took mine as soon as I got them, and never had a problem. If you take it, and it is negative, then just repeat it in the morning to be sure.

You can take a pregnancy test whenever, but be sure that you have missed your period. It's recommended that you use your first morning's urine because the pregnancy hormone levels are higher.

depends on how far along you are, yes you can take in the afternoon, but try and drink somthing and then wait about an hour before testing, your urine need to absord the hcg hormone, about an hour will do it... if you are more than about 3 days late test anytime and it should tell.

the only reason is the first urine of the day is the most potent.
The new ones work anytime. Best wishes.
