If you're wondering why you're 9ft pet crocodile tries to bite you every time you try to interact with him, I don't think Fred is the retard in this situation. Someone qualified to handle crocodiles would know exactly why they are being attacked.

i can almost gaurantee its from one of a few things or a combination of any
hand feeding food (recognizes your hand with food)
not enough attention as a baby (scared of you and reacts with biting)
not fed enough (is hungry and wanting food)
temperature and humidity is off
or its used to eating live food (likes to chase food)

because you don't take the time to teach your croc new tricks dosen't make it a retard, it just makes you lazy!

A combination of nature & nurture.
The kid was born dumb and his parents didn't help either.
