I sure wish I did, or just had someone to get to know..I am 23 years old and I know one thing is very important to me and that is friendships! I really would like a true female friend....A true friend like you see in the movies..Someone who is down to earth, caring and considerate.. Is there anyone out there who feels the same way as I do?

I'm 27 and have noticed the same thing....I used to always have a "best friend"..I hardly have even a GOOD CLOSE girl friend...now I hear other girls my age saying the same thing, they wish they had closer girl friends, but for some reason girls seem to all have hard times being close anymore. I feel like you do, but don't know why it hasn't happened for me either. I think maybe we all get involved with boyfriends and lose touch and never get our friends back. It's a common problem, I don't think you are alone.

I feel the same way. I think friendships make hard times slighty easier, just knowing that there's that one person that's your friend, there for you of their own free will and not by "obligation" (like a family member). And friends make the fun times even better.
I wish I had a friend like that, so you aren't alone.

I am 28 and I don't really have any friends. I have people who are friends, but not close like you see on movies and tv. And yes, I would love to have that kind of friendship! My husband has all of these close friends that he talks to and hangs out with. I just don't know how "grown ups" go about making new friends.

I wish I had friends like that too. I have friends but none of them I would say that are always there when you need them like you mentioned. It would be great to have friends like that who you could depend on and call on no matter what is going on in your life. Where do people like that even exist.

convinced continually... I moved remote from my severe college friends, and now I even haven't any one to verify with except my 2 365 days previous daughter and my husband... and it would want to be so fantastic to have a woman pal to speak with.

I wish I had any friends. I am getting married next summer with no one to put in my bridal party. I don't want to just ad people becuase I know them I want to know that they care for me.
