since the universe is all things then all the money is in the universe so it would be the sum of all the money and the monetary value of all items in the universe. so if we let
A = Total ammount of money in the universe
B = Total monetary value of all goods in the universe
C = Total monetary value of all natural reasources in the universe
then you can just use the simple equation
A+B+C= total value of the universe.

either that or it is 42

In the grand scheme of things money is useless. We are all just a fraction of a millisecond compared to the age of the universe, so money just doesnt seem to matter. You can't put a price on life. The universe can only be measured in time and distance, not in value.
