I have a dress to impress wedding coming up and I was thinking of renting the red Balenciaga bag at http://frombagstoriches.com . Would it work with a demin dress?

I have to wonder about this. You are willing to spend the money to get a designer bag on rental, but you want to wear a denim dress.
Save your money for a nicer dress and carry a purse out of your closet. People won't notice your bag, but they will notice your dress. If you are going to rent something, it should be the dress. Shoes, purses, and other accessories should be just that, accessories. The little things should NOT be the focus of your outfit, especially at a wedding.
If you want a new bag, then go to the store locally and find one you can use again and again. At the prices quoted on that site, you can BUY a nice bag without the designer label.

renting a bag - i have never heard of
wow
the thrift store by me has Coach, LV, D&B, etc behind the
counter for $50 or less
i'd say rent a better dress & go bag-less

If your going to rent a handbag, you should rent a dress..do not go half stepping. You want people to turn there heads when you walk into the room.
