my bf had the same problem at first. he's really goofy so whenever he tried to be serious around people they didn't believe him. be reallly sincere and try again to give her another chance and if she still won't take you seriously maybe she's not the one for you. you need a girl who appreciates who you really are. the jokester side and the serious side.

Sounds like you are a jokester most of the time. Might be hard for some girls to take you seriously. My advice is to go up to her again. Ask her to go somewhere private. And tell her exactly how you feel about her. A little tip. Look into her eyes when you speak to her. And no laughing.

ask her out, and get close, then she'll believe you. Had the same problem.
