There are so many things that it depends on. Is it a first pregnancy, what is the cervix doing, blah blah bah. That's a pretty generalized question. Less than 5 % of babies are born on the due date given. But they say that more first time pregnancies go over due.

My sister in law's due date was on Sept. 15, but she just had her baby. She had all her kids before her due date, so I'd say before.
