It pinned better on Kerry, but the President himself has done some 180s....reversals on steel tarriffs, opposing -- then supporting -- an independent 9-11 Commission, setting up and shutting down the Dubai ports deal, dropping social security reform, and repeatedly revising his rationale for invading Iraq. Among others........

Just remembered....his originally opposed Senator McCain's torture ban, then changed his mind and backed it.

Dr. Cheesehead -- you can lambast CBS News, but I'm going to guess that as a matter of congressional record and review, you can validate these flip flops with any media organization, right or left.......

Nation Building. He swore to the American people before he was elected that he would NEVER get the US armed forces involved in Nation-Building.

Carbon Dioxide emmissions. In his campaign he pledged to limit greenhouse gases including carbon Dioxide, and was talking about the "Four Pollutants" including Carbon Dioxide. After he was elected he declared that he didn't know that Carbon Dioxide was the stuff you breathe out of your mouth (true story) and that he will no longer be workign to cut those emissions.

The UN vote to authorize force against Iraq. Bush Promised a second vote in the UN, in a press conference he said "NO MATTER WHAT THE WHIP-COUNT, THERE WILL BE A VOTE, WE WANT THE NATIONS OF THE WOLRD TO STAND UP AND SAY HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT SADDAM HUSSEIN". A few days later, the US withdrew the resolution and the vote he promised never happened.

SUCCESS IN IRAQ. The president originally stated that the US would not leave Iraq until the insurgency and terrorists were defeated, now he just says that Iraq has to have a "government capable of running the country and fight terrorists." Trying to make the Iraquis do what he could not.

when you're going to objective to forged Bush as a turn-flopper (it is between the most some distance attaining tries at credibility the libs have tried of late) a minimum of placed what he says in context, and, in case you've been with regard to the Iraq conflict, possibly you need to take a sturdy, not straightforward seem at Hillary's multiple personalities. First you cry about "stay the course" and now it truly is "turn-flop" - make up your ideas.

Stem cell research. First Dubya calls it murder, then Tony Snow says that Dubya didn't say it was murder. "What the president really means is that he does not approve of using federal funds to support research that his political base does not support, but he approves of privately funded research to appease the majority of Americans."

I agree....but every politician does the same thing...they will say what they think people want to hear....their goal is to win votes for the party...Rep, Dem, Ind, doesn't really matter. Their main goal is to get elected. That is the unfortunate thing that we as voters have to deal with and try and sift through to make the best decision we can.
