I apologize to all the mentally handicap cap people out there who are unfairly grouped with floridans in the statement above.

Kathren harris won the republican primary for a seat in the U.S. senate to represent florida. Does anyone remenber her as the florida supervisor of elections who ignored the ballots (which was her job to count ballots) and gave the florida electorial vote to bush. Yeah, same lady who said "if you don't vote for christian you vote for sin". so here is the question 1) how stuipd are we as floridans 2) and how badly do we to the rest of the nation?

Should we take the point, and the grammar, of your question as evidence of stupidity?

Well since in the primary only other republicans can cast their votes for candidate that will go up against the other candidates in November you can't blame anyone but Florida republicans, not the democrats, independents, green parties etc...well I guess you could also blame the 75% of the voters that didn't show up or those that didn't bother registering.

All Floridians are not stupid just like all christians are not really christians, just like all arabs are not all terrorists.
The religious fanatics do seem to have gained a religious feifdom in Florida however.
You have to look at George Bush, Jeb Bush, and the convicted republican watergate conspirator Charles Colson to see how the group operates.
Don't worry, it's not your fault.

Kathleen Harris = Jezebel.

All of the retired people voted for Gore instead of Bush, but Jezebel manipulated the hanging chads to ensure that Bush would be delivered to the White House.

What scares me the most about Harris are her statements like the one you mentioned "if you don't vote for Christians you vote for sin". That is ridiculous and she has no business being in public office. Isn't she supposed to represent the PEOPLE, not just the CHRISTIAN people???

Why do the words "butterfly ballot" spring to mind when I read this question? Oh yeah, I remember - those of you who couldn't figure them out.

Oh, and another thing - in which recount did Gore have more votes? I missed that story.

I find it interesting that when a liberal gets elected to an office that it was a stellar election with no corruption. The second a conservative gets elected they must have stolen it or the people who voted were ignorant and stupid.

Just an observation.

It was a Primary, you can vote against her unless you are from the republican party.

It really does make the party and the state look pathetic...weak and stupid. It will be funny when she loses by 30 points.

Seems like you guys in florida just can't seem to figure it out.

I won't step foot in the state of Florida since what happened in 2000. I have no desire to spend my money in that state.
