All my friends (and some random others) constanly tell me that I should be a model, but I'm not sure if I really have what it takes. Please let me know what you all think. Oh and if I would like to try and become a model, how do I go about doing it? I'm totally lost as to how to get started...If anyone knows anything, I'd be really grateful. ^_^

Here's some links to my pics:

I really am curious to know what others think, I'm not doing this to try and get free compliments. Some people mentioned to me that I should be a model and I wondered what others thought. Sorry if I'm coming off concieted.

Oh and I've noticed some mentioning height requirments, well I don't know how tall your supposed to be, but I'm 5'11"....yeah, lol!

I think you've got potential, yes. I'm not sure you'd get work in the British or European markets, so I wouldn't get carried away dreaming of being a supermodel; but you've defintely got that 'All American' thing going on, and you are extremely photogenic.

To go about it, just find the websites of modelling agencies, and they will ususally have an online form and let you submit photos by email. You should go for the well known agenices to avoid con-artists and get the most exposure. The only one I know of in the states is Ford, but there must be others, ask around.

Oh, I'm so going to end up with egg on my face if you're not actually American aren't I?

Edit: Please don't listen to people telling you to get expensive professional photos first. Agencies do not expect you to have a portfolio already, and any agent worth their salt can tell if someone has potential from a snapshot.

Good luck!

Hey. I have a cousin that modeled for a while in New York for the Ford Modeling Agency. They have categories. Print models, runway, etc. It all depends on what they are looking for at the time. From your pictures, I would say it could be a possibility. The only way to find out would be to go to a modeling agency in your town. You will need a few photos( I would recommend a professional do this for you) and to put a portfolio together. Simply look up Modeling Agencies in the phone book and go from there. Best of luck!!!

Heya. I do some modeling work between my studies. I really think u have potential. I would suggest u go to a good photo studio and get urself a good portfolio together, after that take Ur portfolio to different modeling agencies and see what happens.
O and please remember this is a taught industry and u would get a lot of negative comment. Don't let them get to u, just keep taking Ur pics to agencies. And about Ur height; u are a little short for catwalk but u can still do photographic modeling.
Best of luck whit Ur career.

Yeah i think you could have a shot at modelling, i'm not sure what the minimum height requirement is, usually male models are over 6ft. I guess you could check out websites on modelling and how to get started, i'm sorry but i don't have any links. I know that before you go into modelling agencies you need a good, solid portfolio of yourself b/c thats what they look at first so it needs to be very good. You also need to be physically fit, have character to be able to stand out and reflect in your pictures and you need to be thick-skinned to survive the modelling industry. Sorry i can't be any help but i hope you get somewhere with it!

First, I think you put those pics on here so you can hear how cute you are. You are cute. And you should give it a try. Research a reputable modeling agency online. I'm not sure if guys also have to be of certain height. I'm sure they would let you know. But you should give it a try. Or you may always wonder. What if?

You are a really cute guy but I don't really see model material. Maybe you could send in pics to an agency and let the experts take a look.

Not too sound to negative b/c you are an attractive guy, but I think they are just good photos, by a good photographer. You could try to be a model, you have a great features and a great profile, but I'm just saying it would be really difficult.

I say go for it if that's what you want. Put together a portfolio of your pics, then start looking for an agent. It shouldn't be too hard, you've got great bone structure. Good luck!
