everyone flies off the handle without getting the full understanding of what is being said. Everyone who post a question in regards to race is not racist. Everyone who wants to know something about other people like themselves or other people different then themselves is not racist. Why do some of you just go apewire before you even think about what you're reading. This is annoying and uncalled for. Learn to read some of the points people make before you label them something they are not. Get a life people. Why the hell do some of you do this?

I'd like to know this too. I asked (what I thought was) a perfectly legitimate question in the health and beauty section. I asked (verbatim) "Why do so many black women straighten their hair?" I swear you would have thought I had posted chapter info. for the local KKK meeting. Some of the replies I got were absolutely ridiculous--screaming, calling me a racist, saying I should "mind my nosey white business". It was nuts. I was just curious, and I was burned alive for asking it. :(

What was the question you posted? Are you the one that posted that question about "why people act like they have never seen a young blackwomen professional in that wierd ultra rich town in Florida"
If or If not you really hit the nail on the head. Its creepy how people take sides to w/out knowing the full story when you mention the peoples race that s involved. (make sense?)
I could go on and on about my experiences in Charlotte NC for the last six years. Like I said, it would go on and on....on.
Why people do this? because its such a sensitive issue, and peoples primal fears get aroused.

Some topics are just controversial. People don't like to talk about race issues. And, some people don't know how to pose a question in the right way. That's the world we live in. You'll just have to get over it and ask your questions the best you can and ignore the jumpy people and just focus on those that answer what you need to know.

Like Pavlov's dog that were trained to salivate at the bell, so are people trained by society and government to react without thinking to certain stimuli.

We are trained to instantly "hate" anything that might remotely hint of racism, yet no one can explain why we do this. Unexplainable mass behavior is a sure sign of mass mind-control.
