Animal in the world what would you be and why?

...my grandmother's cat. My grandmother just loves that cat... She talks to the cat, pets it and accomodates for the cat all the time. My grandmother will never disturb the cat. If the cat is in her way, or sleeping on the bed, my grandmother will not move or wake up the cat. She will lay on the bed around the cat. This is no easy manuever --- my grandmother is 91 years of age!!!
That cat just loves my grandmother! Sometimes the cat is outside when my grandmother leaves the house to go shopping. When the cat comes in and doesn't find my grandmother in the house, the cat lets out a whine like you wouldn't believe!
I wish that I could be my grandmother's cat and sit on her lap again. I wish that I could have the opportunity to spend alot more time with my grandmother and bring my grandmother comfort all the time the way that sweet cat does!

I wouldn't be an animal but I would be a bird, preferably an Eagle. It would be fantastic to sour high on the thermals looking down on the earth with that fantastic eyesight and I'd be protected too.

I'd like to be a seal, then I could know what's at the bottom of the ocean and get to swim around in the water all day long, or lie on the beach in the sun

It's a toss up between being a giraffe (I love em and I've always wanted to be tall) or being a falcon so I could experience flying. Falcons are beautiful too.

Well i have just run out of strawberries and i love them, so maybe i would like to be a tiny grub chewing my way thrugh a giant strawberry mmmmm

I would have said eagle at first but after reading Grace's answer i'm inclined to change it to cat. What a life!
