This is a no brainer Reuben Droughns will roll over a very weak New Orleans Defense. Matt Jones is going against a decent Dallas D. Always always go with a running back who is the clear #1 starter like Droughns over a receiver battling for the #1 slot on his team.

Good question!
I almost always try to start the RB at the flex spot. They touch the ball at least 15-20 times per game. Droughns is the unquestioned starter, and should get most of the carries.
I like Matt Jones, but he, Reggie Williams, and Ernest Wilford can't all catch a TD against Dallas.
Go with RD, and you should get 80-100 all purpose yards, and maybe a lucky TD.
Good luck!

Droughns is a better bet for the first week. He's a fairly known quantity, while Matt Jones is a speculative play. Let a week go by and see what you have in Jones. If he's finally turned the corner, trust me, you'll know. Till then, go with a guy who had a solid year last year, rushing for 1232, earning 10.02 fantasy points per game (in the standard PPR Yahoo format).

I am from Arkansas and I watched Matt Jones make some of the most unbelievable plays in his career as a Razorback. Might not be the week for him but he is going to be a major force in the NFL one day. Just might be worth a chance.

Always go with a RB. They get more touches therefore more chances to succeed.
