Yes because you're a minor and he's an adult.
Whether or not you gave consent, it would be considered as statutory rape.

Legally, I don't think so in NJ. Financially, yeah, big time. Child support, medical bills, etc. He is responsible for that as he is legally an adult. You have more problems than that though. You are a kid that's going to have a kid. The responsibilities are enormous (and you have no clue unfortunately). You are going to have to go after him for child support and you will have to prove paternity. . . . and that is just the beginning. You need to have a long talk with your parents NOW. You need medical attention for the sake of the baby and your own life. Your parents are going to have to help your prepare because there is NO WAY you are going to be ready. You may want to consider adoption. Some adoptive parents will pick up the medical bills for you and your baby and provide a stable home that you cannot provide at this time. This is going to be a major emotional drain on you as well. Get good counseling...get going on that talk with your parents. . . and start planning because your life is about to change big time.

Wow this is serious. Yes you guys can get in trouble because your not 18 yet. New laws say you can't be with minor 4 yrs apart. You NEED to take a test to offical find out. Be careful he doesn't leave you with the baby. Its harder for teenager moms without family or a bf. You should of never got pregnant(if you are) if your parents hate him. That makes matters so much worse for you to break the news to them. I wish good luck and what ever you i hope it comes out okay for you.

Here you go Hun, hope this helps. Also, get yourself to a doctor.
Most states, including New Jersey, allow 13- to 16-year-olds to have sex with partners less than four years older. Perhaps in an attempt not to interfere with high-school dating, the law allows a 17-year-old boy, for instance, to have sex with a 13½-year-old girl -- in effect, condoning the younger teen's exposure to sex.
However, the same activity, if conducted a day after the male's 18th birthday, becomes a second-degree crime that carries a prison term of up to 10 years, lifelong parole under Megan's Law and civil liability for personal injury.

Depends upon your state law and if you got pregnant before you turned 16. Many states won't prosecute if you're 16, some states it's older, and some it's younger. You obviously have access to the internet, so you can check this out. Try a search for your state statutory rape law or age of consent.

ok im 16 and im pregnant by my 18 year old boyfriend .. but my parent love him .. he is of age its possible that your parents will press charges with him being 18 (of age) and you 16(not of age) ..on top of that they hate him . . Maybe your parents will see that your child will need a mother and Father . so u and your boyfriend should sit your parents down .Take the pregnancy test and then talk to your parents .. Be Honest

You are not ready for sex if you are "afraid" to take responsibility.
If you suspect you are pregnant, you need to take a pregnancy test and follow instructions on the box of when/how.
Being afraid is just an excuse. I understand being scared to know if you are or not.
However, that is part of having sex. Sex will equal a baby eventually.
If you continue to have sex, I recommend you get on birth control and him using condoms before engaging in intercourse again.
I also recommend you discussing pregnant options with him. What you going to do? What will happened if you do get pregnant? How support? Family issue's?
Yes, he can get in trouble if parents file charges on him and also depends on age of concent. Most states it is 18 years of age.
If you hide this and become pregnant, it will make it harder to come out and deal with the pregnancy issue.
Need to do the mature thing and discuss your relationship with parents. They will find out eventually. Make it worse to find out by a baby.

Take a test! You need to be taking care of yourself and the baby if you are pregnant (vitamins and seeing a doctor.)
Your parents could press charges against him for statutory rape. You can't hide a pregnancy forever, you're going to have to tell them what's going on.

He can go to jail for rape! I hope that you are not pregnant. Your best bet is to not sleep with him again until you are over the age of 18 and married. And if you are and your parents found out that you lied to them I bet you $100.00 that they will throw his butt into jail! He is looking at 5-10 years in Jail.

I Think that the only way to deal with this is to talk to your Boyfriend about it first.
Hopefully, He'll stand by you, then you should tell your parents together. Im sure your parents will stick by you too
Good Luck
